The birth and growth of HOP (House Of Prayer) has been and still is a God ordained process. From the time we started out in 2005 to date, HOP has gone through a series of transitions resulting in who we are today.

Our desire is to tell the world about God’s love, and we do this through our music and the creative arts, sharing the love and hope that is found in Christ Jesus. These attributes are characteristic of our debut album, ‘To Our King’, which was released 28th July 2009.

The Album features songs like ‘Final Remarks’ that expresses God’s love for us irrespective of who we are and ‘Trust In Him’, which reminds us that God fights for us and we need only to trust in Him. Other songs on the album such as, ‘You’re special’, ‘Psalm 91’ and ‘Maybe Tonight’ all share the same message of God’s love for humanity which is a key element of HOP’s heart!

We have had the privilege of visiting various secondary schools and universities in Uganda. In doing so, God has allowed us to share His love with the communities there and join with them in worship to our King. Indeed, the word of God has been ministered and we have humbly, and yet so joyously witnessed people turn their hearts to Jesus.
